A leading aviation company in the UK is seeking First Officers to join their dynamic team. The role involves supporting the Captain in flight operations, maintaining high standards of safety and conduct, and assisting with passenger services. Ideal candidates should possess a valid UK ATPL (H) or CAA CPL (H), a current Class 1 Medical, and a strong focus on detail and teamwork. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and / or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold : high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration; chemicals including aviation fuels and oils. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
In addition to the requirement to hold a Class 1 Medical certificate, the Pilot must be able to complete the day-to-day tasks associated with the operation of a helicopter. This includes but is not limited to loading and unloading of bags, accomplish a thorough pre-flight and post flight inspection, assist with snow removal during inclement weather, installation and the removal of engine covers and the daily internal and external cleaning of aircraft as required. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move heavy baggage, in excess of 20 kgs.
