Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. This role combines driving a Royal Mail van with walking your route to ensure timely deliveries.

You will work in your community, handling letters and parcels with shifts from early morning to the day. A full UK driving licence and good physical fitness are required. Angard staffing supports ongoing assignment opportunities where available.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts vary; ability to work at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, partly on foot.
• Securely deliver all items including election materials and restricted items per standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community and provide excellent service.
