Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers, delivering letters and parcels in your local community.

You’ll drive a Royal Mail van on your route and also walk portions of it; the role requires fitness to handle bags up to 16 kg and to pass a driving assessment on start.

Shifts vary with access to competitive pay per shift, and Angard Staffing will communicate any changes in rates in advance.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Good fitness to walk and handle mail bags up to 16 kg.
• Willingness to adapt to changing shifts on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area.
• Combine driving with walking to complete parts of your route.
• Maintain safety and deliver high-quality customer service.
