Job summary

Class Act is seeking a Teaching Assistant for day-to-day supply across Brackley and surrounding areas. You will support pupils across year groups, helping to access the curriculum and participate in inclusive learning environments.

Ideal candidates will have experience in schools, a good understanding of the national curriculum, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work across different settings. Enhanced DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in school settings.
• Understanding of national curriculum and classroom routines.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving learning goals.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support as required.
• Help manage behaviour and promote positive social interactions.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently.
