Job summary

Class Act Teaching Services is seeking Teaching Assistants for day-to-day supply across Brackley and surrounding areas, with opportunities to support across various year groups. Roles start as soon as possible and offer flexible hours to suit movement between schools.

You will assist teachers with engaging lessons, support pupils of differing abilities, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment while upholding safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience supporting children in school settings.
• Understanding of the national curriculum and classroom routines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across different schools and age groups.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support as required.
• Help manage behaviour and promote positive social interactions.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently.
