Job summary

Aspire People are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to join us very soon on a FLEXIBLE basis in the Boston (PE22) area. Our schools are looking for someone to support pupils across the full primary curriculum on a day-to-day and long-term basis.

There are opportunities for both full-time and part-time roles, with possible 1-1 support depending on needs. You will assist with lesson delivery, support individuals and groups, maintain a safe learning environment and contribute to staff

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant in the UK is essential.
  • Interest in working with children to help them reach their full potential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet diverse student needs.
  • Basic administrative and organisational skills.
  • Level 2 or 3 TA qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support to teachers, including lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support.
  • Help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and resource management.
  • Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities as needed.
  • Supervise students during breaks, outings and activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with students and their well-being.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in staff meetings and professional development.
