Job summary

Teach is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across mainstream and SEND schools in King's Lynn and surrounding areas. We seek caring, adaptable staff committed to supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.

Roles include supporting pupils individually, in small groups, or across the classroom, with responsibilities tailored to setting and pupil needs. Experience with SEND is welcomed; transferable experience from care, youth work, or similar roles is considered.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or young people with SEND is welcomed, particularly autism, ADHD, communication and interaction needs or complex learning needs.
• Reliable, patient and professional approach to supporting pupils.
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
• Relevant experience in care, support work, youth work or other roles involving children and young people may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on an individual basis.
• Work with small groups or provide support across the classroom.
• Support learning activities and encourage positive behaviour.
• Assist with classroom routines and provide support to pupils with additional needs.
