Job summary

Teach is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across mainstream and SEND schools in Lowestoft and the surrounding areas. You will work with individuals, small groups or whole classes, helping with learning activities and classroom routines.

Ideal candidates are reliable, patient and adaptable, with a genuine commitment to helping pupils reach their potential. Experience with SEND is welcomed; training can be provided and safeguarding checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, especially with SEND.
• Reliable, patient and professional with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities for individuals and small groups.
• Encourage positive behaviour and assist with routines.
• Provide appropriate support to pupils with additional needs.
