Job summary

Tara Professional Recruitment Ltd is seeking passionate Teaching Assistants to provide flexible support in primary and secondary schools across Shropshire. You will assist with lessons, work with individuals and small groups, and help maintain an engaging classroom environment.

Applicants should have experience with children, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude. DBS checked or willingness to apply is required; TA qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school settings.
• Caring, adaptable and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• DBS check on update service or willingness to apply.
• Relevant TA qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with engaging and inclusive lessons across year groups.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils thrive.
• Assist with classroom management and preparation of learning resources.
