Job summary

Jane Lewis Healthcare Recruitment is seeking experienced Support Workers for agency shifts in Ashford. You will work across local services supporting people with various needs, helping them live as independently as possible and engaging in routines and activities that matter to them.

Ideal candidates have at least six months of UK care experience, the right to work in the UK, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Aged 18 or over.
• At least six months of paid UK care or support experience within the last two years.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Caring, reliable and professional approach with adaptability to different settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical care and support.
• Help with everyday tasks, activities and getting out into the community.
• Encourage independence, choice and social engagement.
• Provide or prompt personal care when required.
• Follow support plans and keep accurate records.
• Some services may require complex care with additional training provided.
