Job summary

Castle Employment is seeking General Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in the BD8 Bradford area. This role offers flexibility with day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and longer placements, catering to qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced educators.

You'll deliver engaging lessons, follow school plans, and adapt methods for KS1 to KS4 while maintaining positive behaviour. A DBS update service and strong classroom management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools or secondary schools (preferred).
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Flexible, reliable and confident teaching in new schools.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons as a supply teacher across different subjects.
• Support pupils’ learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Follow school lesson plans and behaviour management policies.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of KS1, KS2, KS3, or KS4 students.
• Provide feedback to the school’s permanent teaching staff.
