Job summary

HS2 Ltd. is recruiting for a Sub Agent in Coventry to lead planning and delivery of works. You will manage site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and mentor the site team to achieve project milestones on a major high-speed railway program.

Applicants should have an engineering degree or equivalent, strong leadership, and experience with NEC contracts. Flexible working options and travel allowances are available where eligible.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience managing subcontractors for major projects.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary site activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and planning for works delivery, including resources and logistics.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities from construction through close-out.
• Mentor site team members to maintain control and develop talent.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure alignment with project milestones.
• Coordinate internal and external interfaces for smooth execution.
• Advise commercial team on NEC contract notices and instructions.
• Review and approve Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
