Randstad UK is partnering with a specialist SEN provision near Swaffham Bulbeck to recruit a Complex Needs Post-16 Support Worker. The role covers day-to-day supply and long-term placements for young adults (16-19+) with PMLD, complex health needs, and access challenges, delivering necessary health support and life-skills training.

You will collaborate with nurses, tutors, and therapy teams to ensure safe, dignified care, including PEG feeding and personal care, in a nurturing environment with

Formación

• Proven hands-on experience in PEG feeding and personal care/manual handling in SEN, post-16, healthcare or residential care.
• Qualifications such as Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or Supporting Teaching & Learning are desirable.
• Valid Moving & Handling training or willingness to refresh.

Responsabilidades

• Specialist Health & Medical Support: manage daily PEG feeding and gastrostomy care per individual plans.
• Dignified Personal Care: assist with personal hygiene, moving and handling with privacy and dignity.
• Life Skills & Practical Learning: support pragmatic learning and EHCP-targeted activities.
• Therapy Integration: support therapists with movement and communication exercises.
• Communication Support: use visual supports and PECS to promote independence.
• Observation & Care Records: maintain accurate daily health and education records.
