Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate Complex Needs Post-16 Support Worker to provide day-to-day and long-term specialist care near Swaffham Bulbeck. You will work with young adults (16-19+) with PMLD, aiding daily healthcare and life-skills in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include PEG feeding, personal care, moving and handling, and supporting therapy teams. A valid DBS and driving licence are advantageous for community visits.

Formación

• Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care or related field are desirable.
• Willingness to complete moving & handling training.
• Patience, empathy and passion for supporting young adults with complex needs.

Responsabilidades

• Specialist Health & Medical Support: safely manage PEG feeding and gastrostomy care per care plans.
• Dignified Personal Care: assist with personal hygiene, moving and handling using hoists and equipment.
• Life Skills & Practical Learning: support functional learning and community access aligned with EHCP targets.
• Therapy Integration: assist therapists with daily movement, posture, and communication exercises.
• Communication Support: use visual schedules, PECS, and eye-gaze systems to promote independence.
• Observation & Care Records: maintain accurate records on nutrition, health checks, and progress.
