Job summary

Wellspring Academy Trust is seeking a relief cleaner to join our friendly cleaning team across our Leeds schools. This casual, zero-hours role offers flexible hours with work to cover staff absences, holidays, and busy periods, ensuring our learning environments remain clean, safe and welcoming for pupils and staff.

No experience or formal qualifications are required; full training is provided. You will learn and apply Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines, perform duties like sweeping, mopping,

Qualifications

• No previous cleaning experience required.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).

Responsibilities

• Carry out everyday cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying bins.
• Sanitise washrooms and keep hygiene supplies stocked.
• Use cleaning equipment safely with training on Health & Safety and COSHH.
• Carry out occasional deep cleans during school holidays.
• Help lock or unlock the site and keep premises secure.
