Job summary

Wellspring Academy Trust is seeking a relief cleaner to join a supportive team at Greenacre School. This casual, zero-hours role is called upon to cover staff absences, holidays or busy periods, with training provided from day one.

You will clean classrooms, offices and washrooms, carry out everyday cleaning tasks, and ensure hygiene supplies are stocked. Interviews will be virtual, and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Reliable and hardworking with pride in a job well done.
• Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting, carrying, active movement).
• Good team player who can also work independently and follow instructions.
• Flexible hours; available for relief shifts and as-needed coverage.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices and washrooms as part of a friendly team.
• Carry out daily cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, bins).
• Sanitise washrooms and keep hygiene supplies stocked.
• Use cleaning equipment safely; training provided on safety guidelines.
