Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Dumfries is seeking Bank Support Practitioners to provide flexible, person-centred care in the community. You will work on bank contracts, choosing shifts that fit your availability, with full training provided.

Candidates must be female with a UK driving licence (manual) and access to their own car; PVG and SSSC registration are required within 3 months of start.

• No care experience required; training provided.
• Female candidates only with UK driving licence (manual) and access to own car.
• Reliable team player with empathy and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Cover shifts to ensure high-quality, person-centred care during times of annual leave, training or sickness.
• Support individuals living in their own homes in the community with daily living activities, meals, medications, appointments and routines.
• Assist with managing personal finances, moving and handling, personal care, and transportation to activities and appointments.
• Provide emotional support and help maintain relationships with family and friends.
