TARGETED PROVISION LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutor and Teacher roles to support Maths, English, or Science for learners with SEMH/SEND needs. Roles include in-person, online, and hybrid tutoring, with flexible hours and a self-employed basis.

We welcome tutors from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about transforming the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners. A supportive SEND team and CPD mentoring accompany you on your teaching journey.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
• Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
• Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5, referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Raise the standard of education for SEND and SEMH learners through trauma-informed tutoring
• Support learners with MLD/SLD/PMLD and other needs in a caring, trauma-informed environment
