Job summary

Targeted Provision is hiring SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform lives by delivering Maths, English, or Science tuition to students with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles are flexible, in-person, hybrid, or remote, with opportunities to work around your schedule.

We seek candidates with 2+ years of teaching experience, especially with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD. QTS/QTLS is required, and enhanced DBS plus two references are expected. Join a child-centered company making a difference.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and 2+ professional references (we can assist with DBS).
• UK-based with the right to work, including for remote/online roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teens and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons and report on student progress with regular feedback.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for SEND and SEMH learners.
