Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Haverfordwest on a flexible supply basis.

You will support pupils with SEN/ALN, including ASC and ADHD, and deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, working closely with teachers to support learning, behaviour, and wellbeing. The role offers flexible placements across Swansea and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

Experience working with children or young people with SEN or ALN.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
Genuine passion for supporting children with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs.

Responsibilities

Support children with SEN and ALN in the classroom.
Deliver one-to-one support and small-group interventions.
Work closely with the class teacher to support learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
Promote an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Work flexibly across a variety of primary schools throughout Swansea.
