Job summary

Hoop Education in Swansea is looking for Teaching Assistants to support pupils across KS3 and KS4 in a range of secondary schools. You can work full-time, day-to-day supply, or on flexible arrangements to fit your lifestyle.

Ideal candidates will have education-based experience and strong communication and behaviour management skills; Welsh-speaking applicants are highly desirable. Driving licence and transport access may be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting KS3/KS4 pupils.
• Confident, proactive, and engaging practitioner.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Welsh-speaking teaching assistants desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS3 and KS4.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support classroom behaviour management.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Work in a variety of secondary school settings.
• Choose the days and assignments that suit you.
