Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking qualified Secondary Teachers for Swindon and the surrounding area. Roles include day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term placements across all secondary subjects.

Qualified Teachers with QTS are invited to join a flexible program, delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 with strong classroom management. DBS checks and references are required as part of registration.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge across their specialist area
• Experience teaching in a secondary school environment
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Flexible, reliable and professional approach
• Ability to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across a range of secondary subjects
• Cover day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term placements as required
• Maintain high standards of pupil behaviour and attainment
