Empowering Learning Ltd in Nottingham is seeking QTS-qualified secondary teachers for daily and short-term supply, with potential for long-term cover. You will teach across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 for experienced teachers) in a variety of schools across Nottingham and surrounding areas.

Deliver prepared lessons or plan your own where needed, manage classes, maintain high behavioural standards, and adhere to safeguarding procedures.

Formación

• QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification is essential.
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools or completion of ECT induction.
• Confident classroom management and ability to settle into new classes quickly.
• Genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete our full registration and compliance process.
• Reliable transport or ability to travel across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver lessons set by the school, or plan your own when cover work isn’t provided.
• Teach across KS3 and KS4, and KS5 where experience allows.
• Establish positive relationships and high standards of behaviour.
• Keep students on task in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Take registers and follow school routines, including break and lunch duties.
• Leave clear notes for the class teacher at the end of the day.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and the code of conduct.
• Report safeguarding concerns to the DSL immediately.
