Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting qualified cover teachers to support secondary schools across Nottingham and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible schedules, including full-time, part-time, regular and ad-hoc cover to suit availability.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, manage classes, and build positive relationships with pupils aged 11–16 across various subjects and settings. DBS and QTS are required; you will join a supportive team providing ongoing professional

Qualifications

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching in a secondary school.
Strong classroom management and behaviour management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils and staff.
Commitment to safeguarding and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned lessons when required across secondary schools.
Provide high-quality teaching and continuity of learning for varied year groups.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and a positive classroom environment.
Adapt quickly to different schools, subjects and pupil needs.
