Academics is seeking a passionate Secondary SEND Teacher for flexible daily supply, short-term, and long-term opportunities across The Wirral, starting this September.

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with SEN (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, MLD). Manage classrooms with calm, structured routines and monitor progress for every pupil. DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply is required.

Formación

• Qualifications: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT) or equivalent, with a proven track record or specialist qualification in SEN/SEND.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Secondary SEND Teacher or supporting students with complex learning needs.
• Skills: Outstanding differentiation skills, patience, empathy, and ability to build quick rapport with vulnerable young people.
• Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
• Location: Based in or able to commute to The Wirral.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and engage: adapt and deliver high-quality lessons for students with diverse learning needs, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD.
• Flexibility: work across diverse SEND provisions and mainstream SEND departments for daily, short-term or long-term cover.
• Progress: scaffold learning to ensure access to the curriculum and progress for each pupil.
• Classroom Management: maintain a calm, structured, nurturing environment with positive behaviour strategies.
