Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Bridgnorth and surrounding areas. You will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver prepared work and help maintain high standards of pupil engagement.

We offer flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities with a proactive team of consultants available 24/7, CPD courses and market-leading pay rates. Roles are based in Bridgnorth and nearby towns.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils or young people is desirable.
• Confidence supervising classes across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to confidently follow lesson plans and instructions left by teaching staff.
• A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach with a genuine interest in supporting young people's education.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during teacher absence and deliver pre-prepared work.
• Manage classroom behaviour and keep students focused and supported.
