Vision for Education recruits Cover Teachers with QTS to work in secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent. Deliver pre-set lessons across various subjects, maintain a positive learning environment and support students to meet learning objectives.

This flexible supply role suits qualified teachers seeking balance, daily supply or longer placements, with opportunities across mainstream schools and supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility across different subjects and schools.
• Confidence delivering lessons outside of your specialism.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain a positive, focused and productive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support students in completing set work and achieving their learning objectives.
• Adapt confidently to different schools, subjects and classroom environments.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
• Build positive relationships with students and school staff.
