Vision for Education is currently recruiting Cover Teachers with QTS to work in secondary schools across Staffordshire. As a Cover Teacher you will deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring continuity of learning and upholding high standards of behaviour.

This role is ideal for qualified teachers seeking flexible supply work, a better work-life balance, or the opportunity to experience different school settings across mainstream

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility across different subjects and schools
• Confidence delivering lessons outside of your specialism
• A genuine commitment to supporting students' learning and development
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4
• Maintain a positive, focused and productive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students in completing set work and achieving their learning objectives
• Adapt confidently to different schools, subjects and classroom environments
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Build positive relationships with students and school staff
