Job summary

Randstad Education in Swindon is seeking a Qualified Secondary Supply Teacher (QTS) for flexible day-to-day cover across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will deliver pre-planned lessons and uphold a positive learning environment in line with school policies.

This role offers zero planning or marking, with a typical daily rate of £130–£160 paid weekly, and flexible days to suit part-time preferences, returning teachers, or those balancing other commitments.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various secondary subjects in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain a positive, productive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure student safety and support during lesson times, keeping them focused and on task.
• Leave detailed feedback for returning subject teachers at the end of the school day.
