Job summary

Randstad Education seeks a Qualified Secondary Supply Teacher (QTS) to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis across Swindon. You will teach across various secondary subjects without the burden of marking or planning, supporting schools with reliable cover.

Earn between £130 and £160 per day, paid weekly, and choose the days you work to fit other commitments. This role offers variety and the chance to experience different secondary environments within the Swindon area.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification is essential.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments.
• Must possess the legal right to work in the UK and enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various secondary subjects in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain a positive, productive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure student safety and support during lesson times, keeping them focused and on task.
• Leave detailed feedback for returning subject teachers at the end of the school day.
