Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Qualified Secondary Supply Teacher (QTS) to cover secondary classes in Swindon on a flexible, day-to-day basis. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 while maintaining a positive, productive classroom environment.

There is no planning or marking required; you’ll typically work from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and receive competitive daily rates (£130–£160) paid weekly, with the freedom to choose your working days to suit your commitments.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various secondary subjects in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain a positive, productive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure student safety and support during lesson times, keeping them focused and on task.
• Leave detailed feedback for returning subject teachers at the end of the school day.
