Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting for dedicated Qualified Cover Teachers to join our network of secondary schools across Grantham and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible teaching work, including regular covers, additional days, or a varied schedule.

You will provide high-quality teaching and ensure continuity of learning across different schools, subjects and year groups. Adaptability, professionalism and strong behaviour management are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is essential.
• Strong classroom management and positive learning environment skills are required.
• Excellent communication with pupils and staff is essential.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills are expected.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different schools, subjects and year groups.
• Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries within schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teaching across secondary schools and year groups.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons when required and support learning continuity.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a calm, purposeful classroom.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff across schools.
