Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across Shropshire schools. You will deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour and support pupils to stay on task. The role includes 1:1 SEND support and collaboration with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

We welcome applicants with at least 6 months in a school setting and a degree. This opportunity offers daily and long-term placements with flexibility and local working relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' classroom experience in a school setting.
• Degree is an essential requirement.
• Strong classroom management and ability to deliver planned lessons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set work to classes in the teacher's absence.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support pupils to stay engaged and on task.
• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEND where required.
• Work with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.
