Job summary

Wellspring Academy Trust is seeking a relief cleaner to join our team on a casual, zero-hours basis. You will help keep classrooms, offices and washrooms clean and orderly, with full training provided from day one.

The role is flexible and ideal for someone looking for occasional work, with responsibilities including general cleaning, sanitising washrooms and supporting site security. Training is provided to ensure health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• No Experience Needed: Full training is provided from day one.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out everyday cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying bins.
• Sanitising washrooms and keeping hygiene supplies fully stocked.
• Using cleaning equipment and products safely (we will teach you all the Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines).
• Carrying out occasional deep cleans during school holiday periods.
• Helping lock or unlock the site and keeping the school premises secure.
• A reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in a job well done.
• Someone comfortable doing physical work (lifting, carrying and active movement).
• A great team player who can also work well independently and follow instructions.
• Someone committed to creating a safe environment for pupils and staff.
• Someone who requires flexible hours and is happy to be called upon for relief shift work as and when required.
