Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils across West Yorkshire, including 1-2-1 and whole-class duties for children with autism/ADHD and other learning needs.

You will help keep learners on task, prepare resources for the day, and create a patient, nurturing learning environment. A Level 3 qualification and strong numeracy/literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Recent/relevant experience working with children and young people with SEND needs.
• Ability to work under the guidance of the teacher.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children.
• Support children consistently while responding to individual needs.
• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans.
