Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants & Support Staff to work in Leeds SEND schools across the city. You will support pupils one-to-one or in small groups, helping children with various needs and building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and families.

We offer flexible days, fast-track compliance and a network of partner schools, plus 5+ CPD courses via Milk Academy to support ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient.

• Confident working as part of a team.
• Passionate about helping children succeed.
• Experience in education, care or support work (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
• Help children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH and other needs.
• Encourage learning, communication and independence.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and families.
• Create a safe, supportive learning environment.
