Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time in West Yorkshire schools, providing 1-2-1 support for children with autism/ADHD and learning needs. You will prepare resources, ensure tasks meet high standards, and foster a patient, nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities include promoting inclusion, supporting individual needs, collaborating with teachers on planning, and delivering catch-up sessions.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working with children and young people within the past two years.
• Passion for education.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work under the guidance of the teacher.
• Reliable and punctual.
• MUST have Level 3 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
• Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
• Deliver catch-up sessions
