Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is recruiting a Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Maltby, SS6 8LG. This flexible role offers 0–40 hours per week across a variety of shifts, with a focus on maintaining a safe shopping environment and deterring theft.

The ideal candidate holds a valid SIA Security Licence, has strong communication and customer service skills, and can remain calm under pressure. Prior retail security experience is desirable, and a 5-year employment history is required.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols throughout the store.
Provide a visible security presence to deter theft and anti-social behaviour.
Monitor store activity and respond appropriately to incidents.
Support store colleagues in maintaining a safe working environment.
Complete accurate incident reports and relevant security documentation.
Deal with challenging situations professionally and confidently.
Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when required.
Liaise with store management, emergency services, and local authorities when necessary.
