Job summary

Af Blakemore & Son Ltd, operating SPAR St Agnes, seeks a Customer Team Member aged 18+. You will greet customers, help them find items, process purchases at the tills, and upsell to maximise sales at SPAR St Agnes.

You will also stock shelves, check deliveries, maintain a clean store, and support promotions while following store policies. This role offers flexible mornings/evenings/weekends with 6 hours plus to cover holidays and sickness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Some understanding of retail policies and legislative responsibilities.
• Ability to contribute ideas for delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience with 'Challenge 25' policy desirable.
• Keen and enthusiastic approach to working in a team or independently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and help them find items.
• Process purchases at the tills accurately and efficiently.
• Upsell products and highlight multi-buy offers for SPAR St Agnes.
• Stock shelves and check deliveries; rotate stock for freshness.
• Complete additional tasks such as price changes and promotions.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
