Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is recruiting a SPAR Customer Team Member for SPAR Mote Park. The role is 10 hours per week with flexibility to cover sickness and holidays, requiring applicants to be over 18.

You will support store management, drive great customer service, and contribute to sales through attentive service and stock handling. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing purchases, stock control, and assisting with promotions while adhering to store policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or similar role preferred.
• Good numerical skills and accuracy with cash handling.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures with care.
• Understanding of retail compliance and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with purchases.
• Answer questions, help locate products, and upsell where appropriate.
• Operate tills accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Stock shelves, check deliveries, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Support promotions and price changes, date checks, and stock rotations.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
