Job summary

Af Blakemore & Son Ltd is recruiting a SPAR Customer Team Member for SPAR Long Sutton. The role supports the store management team to ensure a positive customer experience, maximise sales, and contribute to continuous improvement while delivering great service.

The position offers flexible hours (approx. 16 hours, possibly more) between 7am and 11pm, with duties across customer service and store operations. Applicants must be over 18 and willing to undertake post office vetting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
• Reliably follows instructions and procedures with excellent attention to detail.
• Some understanding of legislative responsibilities of a retail environment and the skills to assist with adherence.
• Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business forward.
• Experience of using a ‘Challenge 25’ policy desirable.
• Keen and enthusiastic approach to working both in a team and independently.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not essential.

• Stock and store upkeep, including deliveries, shelf stocking, and date checks.
