Job summary

Herefordshire Wildlife Trust is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our Queenswood Shop and Visitors Centre, with a flexible location base at Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum, Leominster. This permanent, part-time role guarantees 6.5 hours per week with potential to increase, and covers our charity shop network across Herefordshire.

You will deliver exceptional customer service, promote the Trust’s work to visitors and volunteers, and help maximise income from donations and merchandise,

Responsibilities

• Enhance the Queenswood visitor experience ensuring all visitors receive exceptional customer service before, during and after visits.
• Maximise the income of our gift and charity shops through sale of donated and new goods items, with focus on Gift Aid donations.
• Promote the work of the Trust to volunteers, donors and customers alike.
• Support the Queenswood team and Charity Shop Managers with leading our volunteer teams, focusing on excellent customer service in all our shops.
