Job summary

Pebbles Care Limited is seeking a Residential Child Care Worker to join a flexible zero-hour team across homes in Scotland and the North of England. You will care for children and young people, support education, cooking, cleaning and activities, while meeting safeguarding standards.

You’ll receive full induction and shadow shifts, with ongoing Therapeutic Parenting training and opportunities for progression through internal roles.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work with children and complete online disclosure.
• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Willingness to undertake training and induction, including Therapeutic Parenting.

Responsibilities

• Care for children and young people in all aspects of daily life and keep them safe.
• Support care teams across several homes in the same area.
• Complete induction, shadow shifts and training in Therapeutic Parenting.
• Coordinate shifts and be available; cover as many shifts as possible and work at least one shift every four weeks.
