Job summary

BID Services Lincolnshire is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team, providing support to adults with sensory impairment to help them live independently. Roles are in Lincolnshire locations, with some positions requiring a vehicle for travel and on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include companionship, assistance with finances and daily tasks, domestic support, and transportation to appointments. BSL Level 2 is desirable for some roles and flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and patient approach to supporting adults with sensory impairment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and report concerns appropriately
• Flexible, reliable and able to work on a rota
• Valid driving licence and access to vehicle
• BSL Level 2 desirable for some roles

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and assistance to service users
• Assist with managing finances and budgeting
• Provide domestic support including shopping
• Help with transport to appointments and daily tasks
• Maintain confidentiality and report changes in needs
