Langley Trust in Gillingham is seeking compassionate Relief Support Workers to join a friendly team on a flexible relief basis. You will work with the Manager to arrange day and night shifts, providing tailored support to clients and helping them progress toward greater independence.

Role requires safeguarding and risk management, building pro-social relationships, and collaboration with colleagues and external agencies. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and person-centred approach to support clients.
• Strong communication with clients, colleagues and external agencies.
• Calm under pressure; able to de-escalate situations safely.
• Professional, non-judgemental attitude with clear boundaries and confidentiality.
• Willingness to complete required training and work the rota.

Responsabilités

• Provide tailored support and key working to clients, including MAPPA-managed cases.
• Contribute to safeguarding, risk assessment and risk management in a safe environment.
• Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and independence.
• Support compliance with plans, occupancy agreements and house rules.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to ensure a high-quality service.
