Job summary

Langley Trust in Wakefield is seeking a compassionate Relief Support Worker to join our dedicated team on a permanent, fully flexible relief basis. You will provide keywork support, maintain client records, and help promote independence across the service.

We offer a competitive hourly rate (£12.75, £13.88 for unsociable hours) and a rewards package including DBS funding, pension, learning and development, holiday pay, and wellbeing support. DBS and right-to-work checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide keywork support (including acting as Key Worker where required) and maintain accurate client records.
• Follow medication procedures, support participation and client meetings, and assist with safety and environment.
• Provide personal care as required and keep health-related records up to date.
• Assess and manage risk and challenging behaviour, maintaining service security and liaising with stakeholders.
