Job summary

Honeycomb Group in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Relief Cook to provide flexible support across our Independent Living Villages. You will prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintain high standards, and contribute to positive dining experiences for residents who call our villages home.

You will have a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification (or be willing to refresh training), experience in a professional kitchen, and a passion for great food and customer service.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification or willing to refresh.
• Demonstrable experience in a catering role.
• Passionate about food and customer service.
• Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of allergen management and health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals to a high standard.
• Support kitchen operations across villages and sites.
• Maintain food hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Monitor stock and help minimise waste.
• Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming dining experience.
• Provide flexible cover across Independent Living Villages.
• Assist during day-to-day kitchen operations when needed.
