Job summary

ExtraCare in Wixams Retirement Village, Bedford, is seeking a Relief Chef to provide homemade meals for residents, with ad-hoc hours as required at Wixams Retirement Village, Bedford.

You will maintain high kitchen standards, follow HACCP guidelines, assist with other kitchen duties, and ensure menus are prepared within budget. The role offers a competitive salary £14.78 per hour and benefits in a modern retirement village environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar environment is desirable.
• Qualified to QFC / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• High kitchen standards and food safety compliance.
