Job summary

PepsiCo UK is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer for the Cupar site to lead productivity initiatives and cost management. You will coordinate projects, analyze practices, and drive improvements across processing and packaging operations.

The role involves coaching teams in lean methodologies, supporting CAPEX, and contributing to the commercial change agenda. Strong analytical and project-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process Improvement & Problem Solving: identify and implement waste and inefficiency reductions.
• Analyse performance reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Understand processing/packaging principles to develop opportunities via PM.
• Lead RCA, SIPOC and DMAIC projects.
• Facilitate brainstorming with production teams; plan timelines and ownership.
• Site Productivity: identify and conduct productivity projects.
• Maintain future productivity project pipeline; support department budget.
• Assist in department capital planning; complete cost studies.
• Coordinate and lead projects via Project Plans.
• Support Change Agenda; involvement in NPD stage-gate and trials.
• Training, coaching and KPI education for staff.
• Manage IPS, Standard Settings and top losses; drive improvements.
