Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic Qualified Primary Teachers for roles across Glossop (SK13) and surrounding areas. Opportunities include full-time, part-time, day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements with competitive daily rates.

Ideal candidates will hold QTS, have primary experience, and be committed to inclusive education. You will collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil progress and development.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in primary education.
• Experience teaching in primary schools and SEN support.
• Excellent communication and classroom management.
• Able to differentiate lessons for diverse learners.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress to help all reach potential.
• Differentiate activities to meet learning needs.
• Support pupils with SEN and adapt teaching approaches.
• Deliver targeted interventions and 1:1 support sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents and external agencies.
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil personal, social and emotional development.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold high teaching standards.
